The Dreidel of Life

The Dreidel of Life spun out of play, yet play gave way to metaphor. A child’s toy, twisted and multiplied, became a planet, a galaxy, a universe of its own. It suggested that chance itself was the axis upon which our existence turned.

Within the collective, the piece was taken as both humor and seriousness. It showed that randomness and gravity were not opposites, but partners. In the spin of wood and paint, one could glimpse the same mystery that governs stars.

The Dreidel reminded them that life itself was a cycle: each fall, each rise, each letter a fate. What mattered was not the object but the lens. Through distortion and patience, a simple toy revealed the cosmos within.
