The Dorian Gray Collection

Season Two opened with The Dorian Gray Collection. The pieces were monochrome, serious, haunted by the imagery of decay and self-regard. Faces blurred into shadow, portraits collapsed into ruin.

The work referenced vanity and mortality, but within the collective it meant more. It was a mirror turned toward the makers themselves. In choosing Dorian Gray, care3much admitted that every creation carries its own cost, its own silent erosion.

This was less an art series than an acknowledgment. The collective had moved from the stars to the self, from outward vision to inner reflection. And in doing so, it confronted the shadows that had always been waiting.
